Community Council Meeting

As you may know our ordinary meetings are generally held on the second Monday of every month. However, due to the school holidays February's meeting will be held on Monday 17th February at 8pm in the Village Hall. We hope to have a member of the Police present particularly to cover any updates in respect of the shooting near Dullatur Road at the end of January.

Responsible Dog Ownership

We have had a number of complaints flagged to us recently about problems with dog fouling. A number of signs are up to encourage dog owners to clear up after their pets and bins are provided. If you want to report any issues please see this page - https://www.dullatur.org/responsible-dog-ownership

Culverts

With the recent wet weather we have seen some flooding from the culverts around Dullatur. Maintenance of these culverts is the responsibility of North Lanarkshire council and they have advised they are inspected and cleared on a 6 to 8 weekly cycle. At the time of the last flood on Wednesday 30th NLC were advised and were on site quickly to attend. Details of where to report a problem are provided here - https://www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=13610

Planning

We are glad to report that the appeal by Ogilvie Homes in respect of the plot of land between Kings and Queens Drive has been rejected.
